<span style="color: #222222;">Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department, under the "Green J&K" program, from its given target of one crore saplings, has so far planted 32 lakh saplings of various varieties across the Union Territory. The drive was part of national initiative for enhancing the green cover across the country. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the occasion, various saplings of Deodar and Kail were planted by the officials of the forest department. It was further informed that by the end of this month, the department will ensure that 18 lakh more saplings are planted to take the total number to 50 lakhs.</span><br />
