31 killed, 150 injured in two car blasts in Iraq

In Iraq, 31 people have been killed and more than 150 others wounded in two car bomb blasts in Karbala today.According to Voice of Iraq news agency, the blasts took place as hundreds of thousands of Shia pilgrims are observing Arbaeen religious rite.Earlier 41 people were killed and more than 100 injured on 1st of this month in a suicide blast while twenty three pilgrims were killed and 108 others injured on 3rd of this month in blasts.These incidents occurred despite the deployment of around 30 thousand troops and police to protect pilgrims and motorbike-propelled carts had been banned from the city. Baghdad's security spokesman Major General Qassim al-Moussawi said in a statement that terrorist groups are gathering together all their capabilities to launch attacks during Arbaeen and after it. He added that the coming days will see these terrorist groups carrying out other attempts whenever they get a chance.
