In Somalia, atleast 30 people were killed and more than 70 others injured by blasts inside the main mosque in the capital Mogadishu today. <br/><br/>The explosions took place near Abdalla Shideye mosque in the Bakara market as people were attending prayers. <br/><br/>Abdalla Shideye mosque is often used by al-Shabaab Islamists to deliver speeches. <br/><br/>One report said a senior member of the al-Shabab militia Fuad Mohamed Khalaf, known as Fuad Shongole was the target. He was said to have been injured. <br/><br/>The Islamists, who are linked to al-Qaeda, are credited with having brought greater stability to the part of the country under their control.<br/>
