In Pakistan, at least 30 militants were killed today in fresh clashes with security forces in the northwest tribal area.According to the private TV Express, one security personnel was also killed and four others injured in the clashes in Upper Orakzai. It said the army took control of Rahktaan area of the region following the clashes. Pakistani army declared victory in the restive Orakzai agency over Taliban insurgency in June, and announced the end of the year- long offensive.
