A major bus accident in Karnataka has led to death of 30 people early morning on Sunday. The State owned road transport bus exploded in flames when it hit a bridge culvert near Nayakanahatti village in Challakere taluk of Chitradurga district at around 4.30 am today. The Superintendent of Police Labhuram who visited the spot said, 30 bodies have been removed from the mangled structure of the bus. He said 64 passengers were traveling from Surapura to Bangalore when the accident occurred. 25 passengers are seriously injured and taken to district hospital for treatment and nine including the driver and conductor of the bus have escaped unhurt. Out of dead 10 are children. <br/>
