<br/>In Iraq, at least 30 people were killed and 40 wounded in the fire that erupted in the Suma hotel in Sulaimaniya on Thursday. Sulaimaniya Police chief Brigadier Nejm al-Din Karim told Voice of Iraq news agency that Americans, Canadians, Asians, Arabs and Africans are among the victims. He added the hotel was considered one of the special tourist hotels in Sulaimaniya and hosts famous officials and traders. The huge fire destroyed a large part of the five-storey hotel.<br/>Director of Sulaimaniya Health Department Rika Hama Rashied Karim said 19 of the injured were in critical condition as they jumped from the rooms in an attempt to survive.<br/>
