In Tamilnadu, 30 people, including 20 students, were injured in an accident this morning at Kovilvenni village in Tiruvarur District. The accident occurred at 8.30 am when a state-owned bus coming from Ernakulam collided with a private college bus travelling towards Thanjavur.The injured have been admitted to Thanjavur Government Medical College and Hospital and are recovering. Hospital sources say three persons have suffered serious head injuries.
