More than 30 Bills, including the Direct Tax Code Bill and the Whistleblower Bill, will be introduced in the Monsoon Session of Parliament, beginning on Monday. The Civil Nuclear Liability Bill and the Women's Reservation Bill are also listed for consideration and passing. Briefing media on the agenda for the Monsoon Session, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said that the Government would bring the Women's Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha after consultations with political parties. The Rajya Sabha has already passed the Bill with stiff opposition from the SP, RJD and JD(U). In reply to a question on the proposed Food Security Bill, Bansal said that the Government was still working on the draft of the Bill.
