In Uttar Pradesh seven persons including 3 women drowned and nine others were missing after a boat capsized in Ramganga river today in Moradabad district.Additional District Magistrate Finance Mr. KK Singh told AIR Lucknow correspondent this evening that the boat was over loaded and about 30 to 40 people boarded. He told boat overturned when passengers were alighting near Daswan Ghat. He said that they were going to attend their fields on the other side of the bank. A hunt is on for the missing persons.ADM has said that a financial assistance of 25 thousand rupees is being provided under national calamity relief scheme. District administration has recommended to the state government for financial assistance to next kin of deceased.
