SECURITY forces had launched cordon and search operation in the area last evening on specific input  about presence of </span>terrorists <span style="color: #222222;">. As searching party reached the targeted house, </span>terrorists<span style="color: #222222;"> opened fire triggering an encounter. The police sources said the operation was suspended in the night to avoid collateral damage. However, cordon was strengthened to prevent </span>terrorists<span style="color: #222222;"> from escaping.
