The Supreme Court has directed the government to give 3 per cent reservation to persons with disability (PWD) in all services; irrespective of the mode of filling such posts.<br/><br/>Observing their low numbers in government jobs, the apex court held illegal two DoPT memoranda which deprived the disabled of reservation benefits regarding Group A & Group B posts.
