In Assam, three members of the extremist outfit People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of Manipur were arrested on Friday. The Police, acting on tip-off, a joint team of Assam Rifles and the Lakhipur Police launched an operation at Borbil village under Lakhipurpolice station of Cachar district and arrested Chandra Singh alias Tompok Singh, Manaothoi Singh and H Ramen Singh of West Imphal district.
