In UP, three more children have succumbed to deadly encephalitis in Baba Raghav Das Medical College Hospital in Gorakhpur during last 24 hours. With this the death toll has mounted to 527 since January this year. Our Gorakhpur correspondent quoting official sources reports that 25 fresh patients suffering from Japanese Encephalitis and Acute Encephalitis Syndrome have been admitted to BRD Medical College Hospital and adjoining district hospitals of the region. A total of 99 patients are still undergoing treatment at different government hospitals of the region. Our correspondent reports that as many as 2987 patients of encephalitis have been admitted this year to different government hospitals of eastern UP.<br/>
