Three militants have been killed in Manipur in an encounter with the Police at Langol in Imphal on Sunday night. An AK-47 rifle, one M-20 pistol and one hand grenade have been recovered from the militants. AIR correspondent reports that the encounter in which three militants got killed, took place at around 8:30 hours on Sunday when the Manipur Police Commandos were on patrolling duty in Langol area in Imphal in view of the militant threat to disrupt the state assembly elections. Meanwhile, the Police and security forces have been kept on high alert and surprised search operations are conducting at suspicious locations.
