<span style="color: #222222;">In Russia, three militants were killed today during a skirmish with traffic police in North Caucasus republic of Dagestan, officials reported. According to the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) reported, a group of unidentified gunmen traveling in a car attacked traffic police officers on the Kizilyurt-Makhachkala section of the Kavkaz federal highway. At the request to lay down their arms and surrender to the authorities, the gunmen opened fire with assault rifles, the NAC said. </span><br />
