In Assam, three militants of a local insurgent outfit `Udal' were killed and an army personnel was seriously injured in an encounter in Karimganj district on Friday. The official sources said in Guwahati that the militants were gunned down when they were exchanging fire with the army at Rongpur Gudguli. The injured personnel was admitted to a hospital.
