The West Bengal Government has constituted a three members Committee to probe recent attack on security men at Silda in which 24 jawans of the Eastern Frontier Rifles were killed. The Committee will be headed by the State Home Secretary, Mr. Ardhendu Sen and will submit its report to the Government within two months. Meanwhile, the State Government has issued show cause notice to the Special Inspector General of the Eastern Frontier Rifles, Mr. Binoy Krishna Chakraborty for violation of service rules. Mr. Chakraborty openly criticized the Police Administration for Maoist attack at Silda Camp.
