In Jammu and Kashmir, police arrested three Lashkar-e-Taiba activists and achieved a major success in cracking murder case of a Sarpanch of Panchayat Halqa Hawoora in Kulgam district who was killed in February last.Superintendent of Police Kulgam Mohammed Shafi Mir told reporters that all three persons involved in the killing belonged to village Hawoora. He said the accused had also launched an election boycott campaign during the last Panchayat elections. Police said one Chinese pistol was also recovered from one of the accused.
