In West Bengal, at least three persons were killed in an encounter between CPIM supporters and Maoist-backed People's Committee against Police Atrocities at Netai village in Lalgarh in West Midnapore district today. According to official sources, both the warring groups indiscriminately used fire arms during the encounter. Several persons have also received bullet injuries. Joint Forces have started massive combing operation in the area. AIR Kolkata Correspondent reports that tension prevails in the area after the encounter.
