Three persons have died and one seriously injured when Jammu-Hawra Express train rammed into a private bus at an unmanned crossing near Bhogpur Village in Jalandhar Distt., today morning.<br/><br/>The dead include the driver of the ill-fated mini bus and two passengers including a widow of a Kargil martyr from village Moklan and her 10 years old son. The third passenger has got head and leg injuries and is admitted in a private hospital in Jalandhar. He is still under observation.<br/> <br/>The incident happened at around 8.30 in the morning when the bus, which was coming from Tanda to Bhogpur, tried to cross the un-manned railway crossing. The impact was so much that the train, which was running late by more than 5 hours, dragged the bus upto a kilometer. The train’s engine also got damaged. The train was sent for further journey only after its engine got changed in the afternoon.<br/> <br/>Meanwhile, the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Ferozepur Division, Mr. Vishvesh Chaubey has told our AIR Jalandhar Correspondent that as per road act, such crossing by motor vehicles on un-manned railway crossings is treated as trespassing so there would not be any compensation to the next of the kin of the deceased from railway side rather a case of trespassing can be registered against the four-wheeler driver.<br/>
