In Assam, three persons died on-the-spot and 24 others wounded, some of them seriously, when a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck at Basagaon near Kaziranga National Park in Golaghat district this morning. The bus was on its way from Tinsukia to Tezpur when the mishap took place. The injured have been admitted to local hospitals. In another incident, one person died and four others injured when a car hit a fire brigade vehicle at Raha in Nagaon district this morning.
