The Bangalore police and Internal Security Division of the state police have arrested three persons along with a big consignment of explosive devices from Bhaktal in North Karnataka district and Bengaluru.
The Bangalore city police commissioner M N Reddi informed media persons that police teams raided Bhatkal town and Bangalore city in the forenoon today and arrested three persons suspected to be linked to Indian Mujahideen banned terrorist outfit.
When asked whether the arrested persons have link to church street Bengaluru blast, the Commissioner said that no link is established till now but possibilities cannot ruled out. The police have seized ammonium nitrate, digital circuits, detonators, timers, and other equipments used for making Improvised Explosive devices.
