In Jammu and Kashmir, a major tragedy was averted by the police and CRPF when they detected three Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) from a Jammu-bound bus at Lower Munda on national highway. AIR correspondent reports that explosives were hidden under a seat kept in three pressure cookers and wrapped in a polythene bag. The bus was on its way from Srinagar to Jammu. The explosives were defused by the bomb disposal squad. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
