In China, three people have been killed and four others missing as typhoon Koppu today slammed its way into southern Guangdong Province. Local authorities said three people in Luoding City were killed and four others in Xinyi City were missing. The typhoon, the 15th this year, has brought heavy rains to the province. Typhoon-triggered landslides have also destroyed a number of houses in three main cities.
