In Arunachal Pradesh, the 3 day State Level Games and Sports Competition began at Rono Hills in Doimukh today. It is organized by Arunachal Vikas Parishad, a branch of the Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram. Over 800 athletes from all the districts in the state are participating in the thee-day event. The state team for the national level competition to be held in Ranchi, Jharkhand, from December 26 to 31, will be selected from these participants in various fields.
