In Madhya Pradesh, a three day public information campaign ‘Bharat Nirmaan’ began in Obaidullahganj of Raisen district today. Our Bhopal correspondent reports, welfare programmes and policies of central government will be publicized during the campaign. AIR correspondent Shariq Noor reports from Bhopal that the Bharat Nirman campaign is being organized by Press Information with the help of other sister media organizations of Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry. About 30 stalls have been set up by different central and state departments to publicize various welfare pragrrammes of government and show case their achievements. DAVP has set up an exhibition titled ‘Rashtra- pragati ki aur’ while cultural troops of song and drama division is publicizing government welfare schemes through their programmes. Programmes like panch-sarpanch sammelan, mahila sammelan are also being held at the venue.
