In a departure from convention, three Constitution Benches of the Supreme Court will sit during the summer vacation to help reduce the number of pending cases. <br/><br/>Addressing the sesquicentennial celebrations of the Allahabad High Court, Chief Justice J.S. Khehar requested the judges to consider sitting in courts for five days during vacation to clear at least 10 cases each day and bring down the pendency. <br/><br/>He said, the Supreme Court will set up three five-judge benches for hearing important matters like tripple talaq during vacation. <br/>'<br/>Justice Khehar said, the legal profession ought to make some sacrifices, when it is at a turning point and a defining moment.<br/><br/>
