In Assam, 3.67 lakh families got wage based jobs in the state since 24th of April under Panchyat and Rural Development Department.<br />'' <br />'' Talking to AIR, Commissioner of the Department Hemen Das said, Rs. 29 crore have been given to them during this period which would certainly boost rural economy.<br />'' <br />'' He said that instruction has been given to issue job card to people who are coming from outside within seven days and also work within 15 days under MGNREGA scheme.<br />'' <br />'' He said that over six thousand  new families have been inducted under MGNREGA in the state during lockdown.<br />'' <br />'' Mr. Das further said that ample employment opportunities  would be given under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna as target has been set to build four lakh new houses under it.<br />''
