<span style="color: #222222;">Assam Finance minister and NEDA Convener Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that 3.5 to 4 lakh people will get citizenship in the state under Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking to news persons in Guwahati today, Mr. Sarma said that no new people will get citizenship under the CAA. He said those who are likely to get citizenship had settled in the state during Congress rule. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The minister said that the government is ready to hold discussion with the agitators on CAA but he said that the agitation took a political turn. The minister said that the agitating organizations are targeting the BJP politically of late.</span><br />
