In Syria, more than 3 lakh 30 thousand people have been killed in the Syrian conflict, around a third of them civilians. <br/><br/>The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights yesterday said that it has documented the deaths of 3 lakh 31 thousand and 765 people across Syria since the conflict erupted in mid-March 2011 with anti-government protests. <br/><br/>Observatory said that in addition, more than 58 thousand militants, mainly from the Islamic State group and Al Qaeda's former Syria affiliate were killed, the figure also includes foreign extremists.
