Boxer Gaurav Solanki will fight out for a bronze medal in men's flyweight (52kg) after he lost his semifinal bout against Ping Lyu of China in the second Youth Olympics at Nanjing in China today. Solanki lost 0-3 on points to his Chinese opponent and he will take on Muhammad Ali of Great Britain in the bronze medal match tomorrow. In athletics, Ajay Kumar Saroj finished fifth in men's1500 metre race 'A' final with a personal best timing of Three minutes, 46.92 seconds. Kenyan Gilbert Kwemoi led the race from start to finish, to win the gold. Ethiopian Mulugeta Asefa and Djibouti's Mohamed Ismail Ibrahim were the other medalists. Javelin thrower Pushpa Jakhar will compete in the final tomorrow. India are being represented by 32 athletes and they have won one medal so far through weightlifter Ragala Venkat Rahul on Thursday.
