2nd Test: Zealand 31 for 2 in their second innings

On Day 3 of the Bangalore cricket test, New Zealand were 31 for 2 in their second innings against India, when reports last came in. Just after the resumption of play post lunch, pacer Umesh Yadav bagged the wickets of both the Kiwi openers – Brendon McCullum and Martin Guptill – in quick succession. Earlier, in reply to New Zealand's first innings score of 365, Team India resumed play at the overnight score of 283 for 5, with Virat Kohli and Skipper MS Dhoni at the crease. The hosts were dismissed for 353 in the opening hour itself, courtesy a hostile and accurate bowling from Pacer Tim Southee, who bagged 7 of the 10 Indian wickets. Kolhi scored 103, while Dhoni made 62. India is currently leading the 2-match Test series, 1-0.
