2nd Test, INDvSA: SA 68/2 in second innings, India 307 in first innings

South Africa were 68 for two in their second innings when rain stopped play in the final session of the third day of the second cricket Test against India at Centurion today. South Africa lost two quick wickets off the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah. Lead scorers in their first innings AK Markram and Hashim Amla were sent back to pavilion. AB de Villiers (35) and Deal Elgar (29) were at the crease for the hosts when skies opened up. The hosts are leading by 96 runs. Earlier India posted 307 in their first innings. Skipper Virat Kohli was the last man out after a fighting 153-run knock. India today resumed their first innings at 183 for 5 with Kohli on 85 and Hardik Pandya on 11 at the crease. Pandya was run out on 15. Ravichandran Ashwin added 38 runs on way to a seventh wicket partnership of 71 runs with Kohli. For the hosts, Morne Morkel claimed 4 wickets.Brief Scores:South Africa: 335 and 68 for 2 in 23.5 overs.India 1st innings: 307/8 in 92.1 overs.South Africa is leading the three-Test series 1-0, as they won the first Test in Cape Town by 72 runs.
