India were 80 for no loss in their first innings at stumps on the opening day of the second cricket Test against South Africa in Bengaluru on Saturday. Murali Vijay with 28 and Shikhar Dhawan on 45 were at the crease. Earlier, invited to bat, South Africa were all out for 214 in their first innings. AB De Villiers top scored for the Proteas with his 85-run knock. This is the 100th match of De Villiers. Spinners Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin picked up four wickets each.
