The second round of talks to negotiate Britain's terms for leaving the European Union ended yesterday without concrete progress. <br/><br/>In a joint press conference after four-day talks at the EU headquarters in Brussels, Britain's Secretary of State for Exiting the EU, David Davis and the European Commission's chief Brexit negotiator, Michel Barnier said there has not been any concrete progress in the talks. <br/><br/>Barnier said, they have fundamental differences on how to deal with the rights of EU citizens who will remain in Britain after Brexit officially takes place. This includes the issue whether the British or European courts will handle cases involving EU citizens' rights in the UK. Davis said there is a lot left to talk about and further work before they can resolve the issues. He added getting to a solution will require flexibility from both sides. Next round of talks will start on August 28th.
