In Kerala, the second phase of the first session of the state assembly will start on Friday. Governor R S Gavai will be addressing the House on the opening day and the deputy speaker will be elected on 28th of this month. During the session upto 20th of next month, Finance Minister K M Mani will be presenting the new budget of the UDF government on 8th of July. Four days of the session have been earmarked for government business. The session is expected to be stormy since Oommen Chandy government enjoys only a thin majority in the 140 member Kerala assembly.
