India has posted a fighting total of 247 for 9 in stipulated 50 overs against South Africa in the second ODI at Indore. Late burst from skipper MS Dhoni and a fighting tail end helped India cross the 200 mark which looked un-attainable at a time. Dhoni made unbeaten 92, while Ajinkya Rahane was the other top scorer as he made 51. For the visitors, Dale Steyn picked up three wickets while Morne Morkel and Imran Tahir took two each. Earlier, India made three changes to the playing eleven for this game. Injured R. Ashwin has been rested along with Stuart Binny and Amit Mishra. Harbhajan Singh, Axar Patel and Mohit Sharma are their replacements. India had lost the first ODI of the 5-match series by 5 runs at Kanpur on Sunday. Prior to the series, South Africa had won the 3-match T-20 series, 2-0. The ODI series will be followed by 4 Tests.
