2nd Junior South Asian Federation- SAF Games began with Jharkhand Governor lighting up the torch of the game at Birsa Munda Sports Complex in Ranchi today. The three- day event is seeing participation of nearly 300 sports persons from eight countries- including host India and neighboring Pakistan. The colourful opening ceremony was marked bycultural programmes combining both the traditional, tribal and Bollywood style.The President of SAF games Adil Duriwal has expressed hope that event would be successful with Ranchi having a world class sports infrastructure .
