2nd G20 Employment Working Group meeting to begin in Guwahati on Monday

<span style="color: #222222;">The second G20 Employment Working Group (EWG) meeting begins tomorrow in Guwahati. The city has been decked up for the three-day meeting.<br />'' <br />'' The EWG Summit will focus on three key areas of global skill gaps; gig and platform economy and social protection and sustainable financing of social security.<br />'' <br />'' Foreign delegates, members from 19 member countries and guest countries, have started arriving in Guwahati. Apart from this, members of some other international organisations will also participate in the meeting.<br />'' <br />'' The first day of the three-day meeting will start on presentation by Finance Track, Digital Economy Working Group, Education Working Group and activities and accomplishment of entrepreneurship research centre on G20 economies. The panel discussion will be followed by cultural programmes at Mahabahu Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre.<br />'' <br />'' On Tuesday, the second day of the meeting, the sessions to be held include "Draft Ministerial Declaration",  and  "Gig and Platform Economy and Social Protection". Sessions on "Sustainable Financing of Social Protection" and "Addressing Global Skill Gaps" will be held on the concluding day on Wednesday.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Yoga sessions will also be held for delegates on Monday and Wednesday. The Union Ministry of Labour and Employment is the nodal Ministry for the track.</span><br />
