The Second Edition of the Indian Super League football tournament kicked off to a grand start with a glittering opening ceremony in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai this evening. One of the chief architects of the ISL Ms Nita Ambani declared it formally open. Film stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt performed to a medley of songs on stage, in front of a host of celebrities and prominent personalities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, Sachin Tedulkar, Abishek Bachchan and Rajni Kanth and thousands of passionate football fans. Music maestro AR Rahman also performed in the high voltage event.
