2nd Cricket Test between India & England begins on Friday

Buoyed by the comprehensive win in the series opener, India will look to maintain their stranglehold over England in the second Test Match starting in Mumbai tomorrow. Another victory for M.S.Dhoni's men will ensure that England's quest for their first series win on Indian soil in 27 years remains unfunished. Alstair Cook, who is leading England for the first time in a Test series as regular captain, said his side needed to score runs if they wanted to win the 2nd game. Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has ruled out any chance of including a third spinner in the team for the second test. Friday's match will also be eagerly followed for another reason. Virender Sehwag is set to become the 9th Indian to play 100th Test match. It would cap a phenomenal journey as Sehwag has maintained a strike rate of 82.45 across the 99 test matches he has played so far. The Indian Opener has earned lavish praise from skipper Dhoni and batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar. Sehwag made his debut at Bloemfontein, South Africa , with a century against the home team and a memorable 220 runs partnership with Sachin Tendulkar. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary on the 2nd Test match between India and England beginning in Mumbai from Friday. It will be available from 9 a.m. on first day and from 9.20 a.m. rest of the days on Rajdhani channel and FM Gold as well additional frequencies.
