The 2nd ASEAN – India Agriculture and forest minister’s meeting started in New Delhi on Wednesday. The three day meeting will focus on networking opportunities with suppliers and producers of agriculture sector of ASEAN countries and India. They will also discuss about joint research for development of technologies for increasing production in agriculture and allied system.
AIR correspondent reports that, the Agriculture and forest ministers or representatives of all ten member countries of ASEAN including Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Myanmar and Thailand are participating in the meeting. On this occasion, the Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar inaugurated ASEAN – India Agriculture Expo.
