The Supreme Court will today hear the new affidavit attaching the list of 2G scam accused who had visited CBI Director Ranjit Sinha at his residence.
On Thursday, the Supreme Court had refused Sinha's plea to restrain media from broadcasting and publishing news stories on the basis of the visitors list.
A bench headed by Justice HL Dattu had said that it had gone through the documents and it is desirable that they be placed on affidavit. It had posted the matter for today.
The affidavit was filed by lawyer Prashant Bhushan. Bhushan had earlier told the apex court that agency's Director is being influenced by the accused companies in the 2G scam.
The bench will today also hear Sinha’s complaint against Bhushan for perjury charges.
