DMK MP Kanimozhi arrested in the 2G spectrum allocation case has moved the Delhi High Court for bail. Besides her, three others – DMK-run Kalaignar TV MD Sharad Kumar and Kusegaon Fruits and Vegetables Pvt Ltd Directors Asif Balwa and Rajiv Agarwal – also moved Delhi High Court today for bail.

Their bail plea was rejected earlier on Thursday by Special Judge O P Saini of the Trial court. The judge said the charges against them are of grave nature and the CBI not objecting their bail pleas is off no consequence in the eyes of law.
