Public Accounts Committee Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi today submitted the controversial report on 2 G scam to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar despite the rejection of the draft report by majority members. Today is the last day of his term as head of the Committee.Joshi said, the Speaker should accept report on 2G and table in Parliament. He said he has not given clean chit to anybody. He also claimed that the rejection of report by 11 PAC members is unconstitutional.Lok Sabha sources said that Joshi sent the report with a covering letter through officials who submitted it to the Speaker's office.The controversial draft report was rejected by the majority of members in the 21 member Committee on Thursday during a chaotic meeting. Joshi claimed that he had adjourned the meeting. But Congress members alleged that he had walked out and after that they elected Rajya Sabha member Saifuddin Soz to chair the meeting which rejected the report. 11 members belonging to Congress, DMK and one each from SP and BSP voted against adoption of the report.They also said they will present to the Lok Sabha their version of the outcome of the meeting and evidence of rejection of the report. The report was reportedly critical of the PMO, Prime Minister and others in the 2 G scam issue.
