The government has asked the BJP-led Opposition and the media to refrain form speculating on the contents of the draft report by the Joint Parliamentary Committee, JPC, on 2G Spectrum scam. Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal told reporters in New Delhi on Friday that the report is yet to be finalized before it is tabled in Parliament.

BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad has called the leakage of the draft report as gross breach of Parliamentary propriety.

Former Telecom Minister A Raja, who has been accused in the JPC draft report of having misled the Prime Minister on 2G spectrum issue, maintained that he had done everything in consultation with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. He said he would send a detailed note in his defence to the panel next week.
