Congress on Saturday termed BJP's allegation against Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram on his alleged involvement in 2G Spectrum allocation scam as baseless and unfortunate. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, the General Secretary of the Party Digvijay Singh said that there is no question of any charges against Chidambaram, the then Finance Minister. He said that it was BJP who changed the Spectrum tendering policy during NDA government.

Senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha alleged that there are many evidences that point fingers at Chidamba's role in 2G Scam when he was the Finance Minister.
