The Central Bureau of Investigation has conducted raids on the premises of former Telecom Minister and DMK leader Dayanidhi Maran in Chennai and New Delhi.

The raids were conducted following registration of cases against Dayanidhi Maran, his brother and two others in the 2G spectrum case.

CBI spokesperson Dharini Mishra said in New Delhi that the cases were registered under different sections of Prevention of Corruption Act yesterday.

AIR correspondent quoting CBI sources says that cases have been registered against three companies also.
