In Tamilnadu, the DMK Chief Mr. Karunanidhi released the list of 35 contestants for the Lok Sabha polls today.

This includes former Union Ministers A. Raja, T R Baalu, Jagathrakshakan, Dayanithi Maran, Gandhi Selvan and DMK Spokesperson T K S Elangovan who are seeking re election.

The names of Former Union Minister Alagiri, did not figure in the list. The other prominent member and former Union Ministers Palani Manickam and Napolean was also missing.
