DMK today released the first list of 35 candidates for the April 24 Lok Sabha polls in Tamil Nadu.

The partys has renominated eight sitting
members, including 2G spectrum scam accused and former telecom ministers A Raja and Dayanidhi Maran.

Party chief M Karunanidi while releasing the list at a press conference in Chennai said Raja, will seek re-election from Nilagiri constituency and Maran will fight the Chennai Central seat. Karunanidhi's son M K Alagiri's name did not figure in the first list.
